Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This notice explains how the OBR Network website at obrnetwork.com handles information. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

1. The public website

This is a music network showcase. Public visitors do not create accounts, join a community, submit a contact form or subscribe to an email list. Mixes, radio destinations and social accounts open on external services when you choose their links. The website does not embed a YouTube player.

2. Preferences stored in your browser

Some features store information on your device. These preferences are not uploaded to the catalogue or used as advertising identifiers.

Save for later
obr-network-saved-mixes-v1 stores saved mix IDs in localStorage, with a limit of 300. The list remains until you remove items or clear this site's browser data.
Announcement frequency
obr-network-announcement-seen stores a timestamp in localStorage and a matching first-party cookie. It prevents repeated automatic announcements within 24 hours. The cookie has a 24-hour lifetime; the localStorage timestamp may remain until replaced or cleared.
Year labels
obr-network-year-labels-v1 caches the last confirmed copyright and scroll-label years so reloads do not briefly show outdated defaults. It is replaced by current site settings and remains until overwritten or browser data is cleared.

You can remove these preferences through your browser's site-data controls. Blocking storage may prevent preferences from surviving a reload. Removing announcement data can cause a notice to be shown again.

3. Hosting, security and analytics

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Delivering and securing a request involves technical information such as the IP address, requested URL, request headers and security events. Cloudflare processes this information through its infrastructure and under its applicable service and privacy terms.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on the public website to understand visits and page performance. Reports include information such as page paths, referring sites, country, browser, operating system, device type and loading metrics. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookie-free analytics and does not use it to track individual visitors across its customers' websites.

Security features may use Cloudflare cookies when those features are invoked. Their presence and duration depend on the security action and configuration; this notice does not claim that every visitor receives a particular Cloudflare cookie. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and its cookie documentation for provider information.

4. Restricted administration

Signal Desk is for authorised administrators. Cloudflare Access handles administrator authentication and associated security/session information, including its authentication cookie. The panel also stores its selected section and filters under obr-signal-desk-view-v1 in sessionStorage for that browser tab. This is separate from public visitor preferences.

5. External links and email

Choosing a YouTube, social media or other external link takes you to that provider, which applies its own privacy terms. Those providers may process information when you visit them. We do not receive your login credentials for those services through this website.

The contact link opens your own email application. If you send a message, your address, message and any attachments are handled by the email services involved and received for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. There is no web contact-form submission service. Please send only information needed for your enquiry.

6. Retention and sharing

Browser-storage retention is described above. No fixed retention period has been set for correspondence; messages are kept as needed to handle the enquiry and relevant obligations. Provider retention and security-log periods depend on the services and account settings involved, so no single period is promised here.

Information may be processed by service providers needed to host, secure or operate the website and handle email, or disclosed where required by applicable law. Visitor preference lists are not sold or used by the website for advertising profiles. Infrastructure and email providers may process information in countries other than your own.

7. Your choices and requests

You can clear browser preferences, avoid external links, or contact us about information you have supplied. Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, or raise other privacy concerns. We may need to verify a request and retain information where a legitimate obligation requires it. You may also have the right to contact the relevant data protection authority.

8. Updates and contact

This notice may be updated as the website changes. The date above identifies the current notice. Questions or requests can be sent to [email protected].
